Go to the menu, now you have either physical a Menu button in the lower-left corner or three dots stacked vertical. Tap ‘Hide Apps’. Now checkboxes will be shown and you can tap every app you want to hide. Finally tap ‘Done’. The taped apps won’t be seen in on the screen anymore.

Of course you can unhide them again. Just tap on ‘Unhide Apps’ instead of ‘Hide Apps’.
